health4schools futures is a funded community partnership programme for schools within Gloucestershire supported by Kraft Foods, Gloucestershire County Council and NHS Gloucestershire.

The original health4schools programme supported 100 county schools, between 2004 -2008, in developing opportunities for pupils to further their knowledge and participation in activities that contribute to a healthy lifestyle. 

The current health4schools futures programme, developed in response to partners’ and schools’ enthusiasm to continue working together, has broadened the original programme’s aims to encompass aspects of sustainability.
